“Linger” is the long awaited second book in the ‘Wolves of Mercy Falls’ Trilogy.

As with “Shiver”(the first n the trilogy), the love story between Sam and Grace is beautifully written – It is one of those love stories that have you swooning from the power of it.

Maggie Stiefvater has a way with her words that seem to penetrate right into your soul, leaving you feeling as though you are living the story right along with them. With this series, she puts a completely new spin on the term ‘werewolf’ and creates a world so real that you find yourself wondering about all the things out there that you may not know about.

In “Shiver”, Grace and Sam overcome the odds by fighting to be together.  In “Linger” however, they discover that not everything is as it seems and they find themselves trying to find a way to secure their future.

Sam will have to delve into his past, into his memories of being a wolf, in order to help Grace, who is slowly but surely battling her own inner wolf. But they are not alone; Cole, a new wolf, has entered into this life willingly; the question is, why would anyone make that choice?

Maggie Stiefvater brings a whole new dynamic to the story with this book, leaving you dying for the last in the series – “Forever”.

If you thought “Shiver” was heart-wrenching, intriguing and filled with equal amounts of despair and hope, you will absolutely ADORE “Linger”.
